Susan Naughton has always had two passions in life: art and animals. She came to Publishing Concepts LLC with an idea to make a children’s book with a twist: retelling the first Christmas story from the perspective of the donkey who carried Mary to Bethlehem. Susan wrote, drew, and colored every illustration by hand. Over the course of several months, we worked closely with Susan to bring her unique narrative to life.

Susan’s book encourages the whole family to have fun retelling the ultimate Christmas story and reminds us that we are all apart of a bigger plan.
